Exclusionists within Queer Spaces

The largest issue with being asexual (pictured above) or aromantic (not pictured sorry I was on a time crunch) is that on occasion exclusionists from the Queer community will attempt to tell you that you are not queer, or not queer enough or the ever enjoyable “a is for allies.”

From first hand experience, I’ll tell you it sucks. It even hurts a little. But just remember, most queer spaces disagree with exclusionist’s, and if the specific one you’re at doesn’t? Find a new one if you can. If you can’t I recommend the internet. Never forget that you’re just a queer as everyone else there, and the people who don’t accept that are assholes.
